On hiatus

Based on my initial encounter with the Dreamwidth Community, my initial assessment of this place is that it is pure poison, badly run and with a sycophantic internal fan base that should be all too familiar in the aggregate to anybody who's been online, for more than a few minutes, even if the individual faces and names are not. While people like this are to be found on almost any social networking site and, admittedly, I've only interacted with a few people, this place is small enough that those few people aren't going to be avoidable.

So, I'm going to mothball this blog, go somewhere more pleasant, and recommend that anybody reading this do the same, until Dreamwidth and its community decide to be worth bothering with.
